There's something about drinking a glass of Scotch, knowing that you're drinking the water of Scotland

O Flower of Scotland,
When will we see
Your like again,
That fought and died for,
Your wee bit Hill and Glen,
And stood against him (against who?),
Proud Edward's Army,
And sent him homeward,
To think again.

The Hills are bare now,
And Autumn leaves
lie thick and still,
O'er land that is lost now,
Which those so dearly held,
That stood against him (against who?),
Proud Edward's Army,
And sent him homeward,
To think again.

Those days are past now,
And in the past
they must remain,
But we can still rise now,
And be the nation again,
That stood against him (against who?),
Proud Edward's Army,
And sent him homeward,
To think again.

Braveheart Freedom Speech

William Wallace: Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!

Be the change!!!!!

So the Meth must be totally awesome in your neighborhood  / suburb.

Congrats.

However,  I have heard that it makes you act funny and do weird things.
Hope you keep us posted.

13 sec in,  it's got a Braveheart feel

but Capt Kirk is a distraction

I think I'll pass

I watched it. Pine is out of his depth with this role. Overall a 6 or 7 of 10 at best

Watched it yesterday. It was mildly entertaining. I’d also give it a 6. Take away the battle scenes and gratuitous titty shot and it would be a 3.

I liked it, it wasn't "Braveheart" epic, but that's a pretty high bar.

What was good about Braveheart?

It's widely acknowledged Braveheart is the greatest film of all time.

Speaking of William Wallace, a statue of the legendary Scottish revolutionary was erected at Sterling Castle in 1996.   To the shock and horror of many Scots, the statute featured the likeness of Mel Gibson (who is Australian not Scottish) and the effigy soon became "the most loathed piece of art in Scotland" and was regularly vandalized.   It was later removed to a private collection.

The artist probably just got a little carried away having just watched the greatest film ever.

It's widely acknowledged Braveheart is the greatest film of all time.

I've heard anyone say this and will go as far to say I can name at least 50, maybe 100 films that are better. It's a good film maybe Gibson's best work but overall an 8 at best, imo

I'm not sure you could name one film better than Braveheart, I don't think there is one, I'm pretty sure they've determined that a long time ago.

Apocalypto and Mad Max are both way better than Bravefart.

Looks more liek he's exclaiming:

Yeeew!  Git off my lahhwwnn!

If you have the BBC America channel you're in luck...Braveheart just started 17 minutes ago!

I lived in Scotland for awhile in the late 70's.  I read quite a few books on the Bruce. He was a big hero.  Then Braveheart slammed him. Who knows.

you are brainwashed, obviously

We already knew that.

Christ, Bryen...everyone knows the greatest movie of all time is Pootie Tang. #fakenews

>>>Braveheart is cool and all, but democracy is cleaner

Although the 2014 referendum failed 45-55, Scotland is still pretty much an independent country in spirit.  I was up in the Highlands and Islands for a couple of weeks two summers ago and saw four (count em) Union Jacks the whole time.   Two were on military recruitment offices, one on a military cemetery, and one in someone's yard in Orkney (which is culturally as much Norwegian as it its Scottish).   Otherwise, it was the St. Andrews Cross all over the place, including all the government buildings in Edinburgh.
