Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets

Forums:

Y'all going or what? I'm going to meet a buddy up in Seattle. They're playing Dallas and Houston but it'll be nice to get out of town for a couple days during sxsw...as long as I get these presale tix.

Grabbed a pair in the first row of the mezzanine for the Toronto show.

Hope you got what you needed for Seattle.

I'll find out in 2 hours! Sounds like a good score!

Pre sale code??

Good luck.

Toronto had Platinum seats available today - believe they ranged from $480-$550 each. Ouch. Bunch of VIP packages I didn't look at either. Made Mezzanine for $120 after fees feel like a bargain.

MIXTAPE got me in to the livenation presale up in Toronto.

YMMV, of course.

Technically, I guess it should be Your Kilometres May Vary up here...

MIXTAPE

Psyched for this!

Thanks for the heads up on the password.  Just grabbed a pair in row EE on the floor just in front of the soundboard.  $236 total with fees.

scored a couple $79 floor seats for the Masonic shoe.

thanks, way psyched!

3 on aisle next to soundboard $227.00 total with fees and standard mail

Miami

Where it is always going down

R these shows a saucer in your seat type of deal?

Just bought a pair of VIP for the SF Masonic show as a birthday present for my son.

most definitely, E.

Presale for Masonic?

MIXTAPE worked for me...

$450 for Wiltern pit.

Vintage psychedelia for high rollers.

Will  there  be box office sales at the Masonic monday ? or some other venue for Live Nation shows?

Lance?

Lookin to hit the atl for this one

In

balcony 6 dead center

wohoo...

In for tour opener in Vancouver. Row 9 center floor. $145 CAD each ($110 USD). Actually cheaper than Seattle, where the same (standard admission) seats are $145 USD. Go figure.

Many vip's available as well - don't know if that includes a ride in Nick's race car.

This looks way too expensive just to see Nick Mason. ??

More like NIck Mason's Fleece The Yanks

Is there a black screen somewhere on which folks are debating the best Fake David Gilmour?

I looked at Beacon NYC seats,  but did not splurge.  Before fees the AWESOME seats were several hundreds,  and upper Balcony sides were around 60.  Little rich for me;   I'm sure it will be fun.

It's not like I'm ponying up just to see Nick Mason, it's a chance so see/hear strictly pre-Dark Side psychedelic tunes so rarely played, with a cast of stellar Brit musicians, some of whom are Floyd alumni, with Nick at the helm, giving it some authenticity. This one's for the die-hards, and we deserve it.

DaBreeze gets it

It's like seeing Dweezel.....where else besides my own living room can I hear a night of Frank

Hoping to get some decent seats for Denver. What site are people accessing pre-sale tix? Denver says going on sale Friday 11/9.

http://www.thesaucerfulofsecrets.com/

I got mine here

MIXTAPE was the pre sale here too

I paid $79 for floor tix towards the back and a little to the side, but where the sound will be great (who cares about the view for this, anyway?) so I don't feel fleeced in the least.

And like others have stated, this is not the catalog of tunes Gilmour or Waters focus on much, yet it's some of the most mind blowing, psychedelic stuff ever produced (and pioneered).  To be able to hear it performed by professional musicians through a powerful sound system in a room full of like minded freaks is something I am really looking forward to.

We are in for the Columbus show! $219.90 for two tickets with fees.

Still considering the Akron show the following day, but I'm feeling a little sticker shock.

Will be monitoring set lists for variations before deciding on that one.

The set list was static in Europe I would expect to see no variance.

Thanks, Woz! yes

I'd like to request everyone attending the SF show frequently scream, "nick Masonic!"  At the top of their lungs.

thanks in advance

i'm out...

i am no longer supporting shows that are large enough for t master or live nation.

Turtle making a stand.

Turtle, I should have insisted u go see Carl Broemel w/ steelism when they were near u.

the shows were cheap, exquisite and under attended.

i sincerely apologize and u shouldn't forgive me :(

jerks

Turtle is the Pearl Jam of dbmb's.

I mean, they're playing the songs and it is "psychedelic" but it doesn't sound THAT good. Sorry but the vocals just suck. I guess I go see more current music live and the whole repro thing just doesn't do it for me. Enjoy the concert.

i also boycott mc donalds...

This is the holy grail right here. It's a very very difficult standard to uphold, I get it.

Pink Floyd - Montreux !970

^excellent, but not a whole lotta vocals (which I don't mind one way or the other)

Hey, we're late to the party!  I can still score decent balcony seats -  unless we think we can buy the lousy floor seats and still move around on the floor and find a dance spot where we won't be hassled.   Anyone have any experience with the floor of the Masonic?

You think the Masons are gonna allow some semi-bare footed hippy freak to just wander around??  Don't be surprised if you end up on at slab in an adjacent ante chamber...

How high do you have to be to dance to Corparal Clegg?

4

Thanks, Hall. cheeky  Good point, Herbal Dave.   Balcony it is then...

Oh Yea high

Clegg alternates from headbanger to hippie sway...

C'mon, Guys, "dance" means stand up and move instead of trying to enjoy live music with my ass stuck in a seat!  It's not for everyone but it's not just me.   And by the way, Herbal D, how high do you have to be to enjoy the most psychedelic Pink Floyd period EVER with appropriate light show?  High enough!

Bought a pair of cheap seats in the balcony. The Paramount in Denver has notoriously bad sound, and very bad under the balcony. The sound in the balcony is actually good due to the sound getting compressed/pinched into the wedge up top. Looking forward to this one!

Picked up seats in Atlanta, road trips!
