I have been hoping for a North American tour since I first heard of this project. yessmiley

god damnit i am trying to quit concerts.

It's okay, Turtle, it's a theater tour.

I'm not doubting it, but what about this do you think will be good? Honest question. I have never heard anything solo by him, so I'm unfamiliar with his work. Will this be all Pink Floyd material?

Yes, all Pink Floyd 1967-1972 pre-DSOTM material.  The band includes Guy Pratt, the bassist Pink Floyd used when they recorded and toured for Momentary Lapse Of Reason and The Division Bell.  The debut performances of this band in the U.K. received strongly positive reviews.

Remind me a year from now about Wallingford show!

there's some excellent recordings from the Europen tour on Dimeadozen and other trackers...

A September show from across the pond. Been listening to this for a few weeks now.

Did I just hear someone say "doses"

So the band includes a session bassist from 80s/90s Floyd but plays psych-era Floyd?

Is that why it's good?

A night of old Pink Floyd with pretty lights is why it will be good.

Sounds pretty basic to me.

Cool, Herbal, thanks for the breakdown. That does sound pretty cool! Have fun to all who get to see it. Doubt he's coming to Chile! laugh

what Flashbacks said.

thanks for the heads up, Dave.

Well shoot. Will be out of the country when this rolls around.  Set list looks awesome.  There are many great Pink Floyd tribute bands out there with killer sound and fantastic lighting, but they don't dive as deep into the old stuff as Mason appears to be doing.

Guitar player from Spandau Ballet is excellent...not familiar w other guitarist, but, im excited to see this early Floyd work
