I'm grateful that I have a home, food, clothes, a car, a good job, a wonderful wife, two healthy kids, both parents alive, brothers and sister doing well.
I'm grateful that I have people who care for me, and that I have room in my life to give love to others.
I am grateful that I have accomplished almost everything an average person can ever expect and then a little more. There are no guarantees and I remember this every single day. I am loved and I get to give love. I feel lucky. Not bad for a kid that remembers the taste of government cheese.
