I disagree. I would love to have some sort of productive interchange with Thom to find out what his values truly are, clarification of his intent, definition of what "The Left" is to him, etc.
If he's looking for some sort of validation, I would be more than happy to accommodate that. (I agree that the person in Castro Valley who insulted the GOP Rep candidate was wrong to engage in a physical struggle and that the Sheriff's dept was right to arrest him for trying to pull out his switchblade knife - thank God he didn't have a gun on him!)
I would also like to think that Thom's "caseload" of responses is much smaller than Donald Trump's.
Too bad, IMHO, because Thom has a chance to potentially change minds, but he appears to be deepening Tribal divides and stoking hate, rather than promoting understanding and potential empathy.
My 2 cents.
