Huge Vibes & Prayers & Love needed for SharkM

It's been a long time since I posted on the Zone and I wish this weren't these circumstances. I know many of you old-time Zoners in the Northeast know Mark "SharkM" and know him to be an amazing soul, and he happens to be one of my oldest friends.
About a month ago, Mark found out he had a tumor, and after some back and forth through the testing, it was determined he needed surgery to have it removed. The good news was that it was most likely benign, but the bad news was that it was in a very difficult location to remove. Today they made an attempt to remove it and there were complications forcing them to have to go back and make another attempt tomorrow. It's going to be another long difficult round of surgery.
Mark's in the ICU tonight and needs all the seriously strong good vibes, positive energy love and prayers we can send his way. If you're reading this and know of other old-time Zoners who know Mark, please let them know as well.
Mark is at one of the best hospitals in country and I'm hopeful he'll be back on his feet soon. But please send the vibes along...

Quick update of what I know
Quick update of what I know at this point. Mark essentially had a second full day of surgery today and even with the many hours on the table. they were not able to remove the tumor but he is stable in the ICU. I'll give another update when i know more.
I know Mark will be humbled when he is able to check back on the Zone and see the support for him....

The news and waiting must be so hard for Mark's wife, family and friends. Heartbreaking that they couldn't remove the tumor, I hope they'll be able to retard/contain its growth.

Mark was stable overnight, but with two straight days of surgery will have a recovery hill to climb, then a road to go afterwards. So keep those vibes coming!

Thank you so much for the vibes and prayers. They really do work!
its been a surreal couple of weeks to say the least, but they let me go home last Friday. Being home has been great, my own bed, my amazing wife’s cooking and no longer being surrounded by so many sick people.
i still have a lot of recovery ahead, but I am trying to feel a little better each day. I often need to remind myself that my surgery only began 2 weeks ago tomorrow! Pretty amazing that I’m home on my couch today.
i truly appreciate all the kind thoughts and will keep the crew updated. And you New England Zonahs, you know who you are, we need to get together SOON!!!!

Good to see you, Mark.
You've had quite a go of it and yet you seem like your self, intact. Having surgeries as you did can be really disruptive. I'm not someone who thinks of auras, but after I had a serious/big surgery a friend told me I shouldn't expect to feel like my usual self "because your aura has been cut" - it actually made some sense. I slogged through some complications and felt like myself about 6 months later. 6 months! Being cut and opened is big. Give yourself time to heal, repair, etc. I know your loving family will help with that.
