Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) and his wife, Margaret, were indicted Tuesday after being charged with misusing at least $250,000 in campaign funds for personal expenses, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced.

He tried to remain defiant yesterday and said he wouldn’t resign from his committee positions but he did today after Paul Ryan told him they’d strip him of his positions if he didn’t give them up.
In a highly original move, Duncan said that this investigation is a witch-hunt, being put forth by the politically biased justice department.
Duncan is part of the original “Trump Caucus” and was the second congressman to endorse Trump in his presidential bid. The first to endorse Trump was Rep. Chris Collins of NY, who was indicted earlier this month on insider trading charges.
