I also lurked for about 15 years. Not good at typing or technology. Lurking got me to the ECZJ on the Hudson twice. One was for Gitmo. The music was great,and the love that was shown to Gitmo and his family choked me up. Great to see people get together for a cause! Not for a Cream Puff War.

After not checking into this place at all for a few years, I started lurking around in the past few months. I closed my facebook account and found myself with no internet time waster.

I've considered jumping back into some conversations that I find interesting...and then one of the same old trolls as always will jump into the conversation, and then some dimwit takes the bait, and, well...I remember why I stopped posting here in the first place. 

Much love to any who remember or care if I show up around here. I may, or I may not.

The goal here was/is not to be the Phil Zone, but to be a place where Zoners could have conversations at ease - not to have to grow thicker skin but to be able to post without getting jumped for their opinions or posts. Trolling, bullying and hazing to be left at the door.

Respect, civility, yes, all that. It seems so clear. If you don't like an opinion or post, jump on the opinion, discuss it, not the person who posted it.

Thom has thick skin. 

His support of Trump can bring out some pretty harsh criticism and personal attacks.

Knotesau, I think I have disagreed with every opinion that Thom has offered and every article he's cited, but he shouldn't need to have thick skin to post here because he shouldn't be personally attacked. His opinions, yes, but him, no.
