Anyone going to Phish tonight?

Forums:

360 Amphitheatre. Anyone?

If so I probably won't check Viva again. Pre show is at Hotel Van Zandt.

Whoop it up!

Who?

Saw Mike walking with his family as I was getting dropped off at Van Zandt. Apparently he was taking his kid to the pool, saw us and immediately turned around. Extremely nice hotel for some hot jamz. Show was awesome! My buddy got a pit miracle for his first show. He couldn't believe it. He wanted to find the guy and give him money but settled on a hug when we saw him.

yup, going tonight, you?

Chili tonite? Not tmrw?

:)

Might Head out to Camden tomorrow.  Too much work today.  Was already in the Greater Camden area twice this week,  so it's hard to get the enthusiasm together. yeskiss for all attending !!

Did not attend tonight,  but listened to most on Couch Tour.

Tempted to head there tomorrow and seek a cheap lawn ticket.

Often enough,  the night after a weak Phish show really has some Hot Stuff.

Im thinkin same , Stu...what are odds you ll go?

Id put mine at below 50-50...maybe 40-60 % chances ill go...but, if i do , ill give ya a holler before noon, one pm etc...id know more by then...would love to meet up....hey...is it ez to train into camden from nyc?

Actually,  it's 'EZ' to get there,  but not back,  on a weekday.

There is NJTransit "RiverLine"  that only returns late on Weekends.  Weekdays  they don't run late.

You would probably want Amtrak from NYC and then a ferry to/from Camden.  The ferries still run after shows,  I think.

http://www.delawareriverwaterfront.com/places/riverlink-ferry

That's the link for the Ferry.

Stu, go to the show, it's safe, there's a Battleship protecting it.

And tickets abound...

You know what they say, Often enough,  the night after a weak Phish show really has some Hot Stuff.

RiverLine was running at end of show

ooh, first set was supah.  had phun.    hot sauce :)

I know Camden is a nice place and all,  but...

CAMDEN -

Two Camden police detectives were shot as they sat inside their vehicle, according to Chief Scott Thompson.

It happened near the intersection of Broadway and Mount Vernon streets Tuesday around 8:30 p.m.

Thompson says that the detectives were wearing plain clothes and were sitting in an unmarked police vehicle when a man walked up to them and fired 10 to 25 rounds into the windshield.

One of the detectives was able to return fire, but it was unclear if the suspect was injured.

The detectives were taken to Cooper University Hospital and are expected to survive.

Thompson says that the shooting appeared to be unprovoked and says that a search for the suspect is underway.

Nice thing about staying on the farm,  it's nice and quiet.  Nothing like gangster-cop gunbattles happens here.

Hey Stu the dark colors you choose for your fonts make some of your posts really hard to read.

Anyone else have difficulty reading or deciphering Stu’s posts?

Nobody reads those posts Bucky.

What it said is some unknown person(s) shot a bunch of rounds at some cops in an unmarked cop car,  a few blocks from the venue.

My point was that Camden has a sketchy reputation.

Jambone, several flights of fancy occurred and I was lost in the ether a bit last evening.

A couple nice jams in a self-indulgent first set. Set 2 seemed to fly by.

>>>>My point was that Camden has a sketchy reputation

In my experience some back street navigators need to heed Disco "Captain Obvious" Stu's warning....

All dry and reddy. Who's in for night two?

>>>>No reads those posts Bucky.

Don’t be so hard on your posts man, I try to read them sometimes.

Not gonna make it tonite, voodoo,..stu, i sent ya a text w same info etc...but, it was the kids birthday last sunday, so, even though we cant make tonite...we re now lookng at possibilities for maryland on sunday...its really up to him , as i promised him id take him to one of these shows for his birthday...so, marylands really our last shot

U going sunday, voodoo? How about rob84? Id have thought he d be checkin in by now....;)

Have fun tonite, all....be safe...(oh, and i totally agree w stu, tonite is gonna rock..w my luck, theyll prob play sneaking sally and carini, hour and half versions of each)

Who was the zoner who feared for his life and thought Port Chester was a sketchy place?  I wonder if he ever passed through Camden?

I guess gentrification has been slow to take hold in Camden.

Camden needs a bomb dropped on it.  Take the whole place down -- the criminals and the criminal cops.. It's a toss up on who is worse.

I think PC has some decent places to eat & drink nearby the Capitol Theatre,  and I've parked & walked within a mile or so of there with no fear.

Driving near the Camden venue I don't see a lot of friendly - looking spots right in the vicinity,  although nearby Haddonfield,  Cherry Hill and some other towns seem completely safe.

Just never been all that crazy about the Camden venue,  but others may think it's Great.

My go to in Port Chester is the Misti restaurant on Main st.

Its a Peruvian joint and has decent food and prices. I like to order the fried seafood platter, the problem is they dont cook a marinara sauce or have any decent hot sauce, so I pit stop at the nearest pizzeria and grab a container of sauce to go. They dont have a problem with it and I tip well.

>>>>the criminals and the criminal cops

Camden has a police force? I thought they broke up and decided to move on.
