Anyone here play video games?

I just started playing a game at home for the first time and the worst part is when people irl want to talk to you while you are playing.
How do you handle that without ending up with no friends? I really want to tell them to stfu and go away because I’m busy but I’m getting the feeling that that isn’t cool since they can plainly see that I’m playing a golf game and not “really” busy. Any advice? thanks!
