Ounces are a LOT less than $200 in Portland, LOL.

What are you Timmy?

A 2018 report from Pew Research Center defines Millennials as born from 1981-1996, choosing these dates for "key political, economic and social factors", including September 11th terrorist attacks. This range makes Millennials 5-20 years old at the time of the attacks so "old enough to comprehend the historical significance." Pew indicated they'd use 1981-1996 for future publications but would remain open to date recalibration.[34]

>Ounces are a LOT less than $200 in Portland, LOL.

It's an average cost.  Ounces are a lot more in different parts of the country. In some places they're free.

there are 10 oz in a pound?

I dunno...

in '77 most beers had low alcohol content, so ya had to drink like 10 to 12 beers to get the same buzz as a 4 pack of today's IPAs.

and back then it was shitty columbian gold or mexican from some random biker dude who dealt to us HS kids behind the 7-11. nowadays, I'm being handed great weed left and right.

Miracles are still free....

Mr. ignorant there was a mark up with ounces costing more than 1/16 of a pound

My first time experience  was I bought a quarter pound for $24  sold 3 ounces for $8 ea and got one for free

Colombian gold Mr. Hall

Santa Marta gold was one of the finest ever and sold quickly for $40 an ounce

1970: hairy

2016: smooth

Colombian gold Mr. Hall

Santa Marta gold wad one of the finest ever and sold quickly for $40 an ounce

NYE winterland 1968 was $8

and the best value EVER!!

Here is an inflation calculator:

That $2.38 six pack in 1977 would be $10.25 today.  And that was probably for some shitty lager.

Also, I personally don't think having access to free, legal, and dank weed is a bad thing.

I was wrong, you are right...I was thinking of 4oz price.  Been a long, long time.

Millennials here on Viva just can't come to grips that they're actually Millennials.

Just grasp it tight with both hands and embrace your generation and do good things.

It'll be okay.

Slacker, fun fact:

NOBODY currently earning minimum wage, full time, can afford to rent a 2-bedroom apartment anywhere in the US.

WoW Ender You Even Scared ME ! my numbers might be off devil

Is that a campaign slogan, Gravy?

NOBODY currently earning minimum wage, full time, can afford to rent a 2-bedroom apartment anywhere in the US. <<

YET Idiots Still Spawn = INSANITY !

It can be yours, Slax! Probably pay better than "pools", if you win.

You suggest I run for office to join the middle class?

Nope. I suggest you run for office as a champion of the working class.

There's no such thing.

Only fools and despots would say that, Slax. So which one are you?

You champion the working class here, why not take it to the next level? If not now, when?

Who are the working class heroes and why?

Not doing this today, Slax.

sea lions_0.jpg

Have you ever voted for a working class candidate?

PLF, do you contribute or collect?

>>>>>NOBODY currently earning minimum wage, full time, can afford to rent a 2-bedroom apartment anywhere in the US

Dunno 'bout that. In our area basic 2-bed apts. can be as low as 6 to 800 a month. A friend got one for 500. They do get snapped up quickly. Min. wage pulls in about 1320 net per month.

Not luxurious living but a reality for a number of folks around here.

1973- my 1st GD show ticket: $5.50- total.

2018- DeadCo. ticket with all charges: fuck that.

>>>>1973- my 1st GD show ticket: $5.50- total.

Using the inflation calculator, that comes out to $32.50 today.   Still cheaper than Dead & Co. and many other big touring acts, but comparable to some other modern ticket prices.

In '73 The GD had recently become an "arena rock" act, although The NRPS did open that night (3/31).

I don't think you can even get a nosebleed for $32.50 today (NOT including service charges).

Who are the bigger babies? Millenials or baby boomers? Very tough debate.

We all know who the biggest complainers and whiners are.

Poor people.

>>>1973- my 1st GD show ticket: $5.50- total.<<<

'74 it was $6.00

>>Poor people.

Most poor people are so marginalized that they have no chance to complain or whine.
