Hello old friends! My first time posting in the new format...thank you Judit for all of your help.
As many of you know we lost our dear Zerby (BoxofEyes) to cancer. It was swift and unforgiving. We were all left in complete sadness and shock. Including his wife and two daughters.
On the weekend of September 7th, David (Charlie Murphy) and I will be hosting a benefit concert/campout to raise money for Zerb's girls.
Phil just announced a Philly show for 9/9, so it could not be a better date! Zerb campout Friday and Saturday, Phil Sunday!
Everyone is welcome to camp/crash at our house right outside Philly!2

I know we can't attend as Bob, my mom and son have a vacation planned that week :).

Okay all looks like this is coming together for me. Looking for a partner, thinking of hitting Port Chester Phil show on thursday night then heading down to Philly on Friday morning. We could meet in Port Chester. then do the Benefit fri / sat and head to Phil on Sunday coming back up north on Monday. I could drop you off in Port Chester if needed on my way home. Also wondering about crash space after Phil on Sunday. IM me if interested in joining. I have a SUV and could fit a few folks if needed. I'll be coming from Southern RI and could also pick some up along the route if they prefer.

So looks like work wins this battle and I now am not going to be able to make this, shit happens. i have a ticket for Phil on Sunday if someones needs it, would like to get something back on it, I understand the lineup is not great. It is a hard ticket and I can mail it to someone if need be. I would also consider sending it if you make a donation to the Zerby fund.

After a bit of reflection,
After a bit of reflection, my thought is as follows:
Sell me that Phil ticket for what we deem reasonable $$ and I will donate it as a raffle item at the Benefit for BoxOfEyes show.
Gloria & Charlie Murphy live not too far from Phil adelphia, so a potential audience there.
I wasn't planning to attend the Phil show, but expect to be at the Benefit show.
So think about that, and consider the possibility.
I could send you the $$ and you could mail the ticket to CM & Gloria, if they think it's a good idea.
That scenario really depends upon if / whether CM / Gloria / Jklowan think it's a valid concept.
Get in touch if you think it's a functional platform. I'm willing to help make it happen.
