From, "The Apple doesn't fall far from the Trees," files....
Years ago I told my kid - "Don't touch my F'n guitars - so naturally he grew up to be a Jerry loving shredder....
My son Stuart and his pals were a blast to jam with at the debut gig of "Ted & Company," at the Ocean Alehouse in SF's obscure, but lovable Ingleside District.
Our debut gig went well and we are please to report that will be back at the Ocean Alehouse on June 1st and August 4th.
(August 4th is the night before Stu Allen and the Mars Hotel and Melvin Seals and JGB throw down at the nearby Jerry Garcia Amphitheater in McLaren Park for Jerry Day!)

If you have time and interest to spin some of this - I am pretty sure you will find there is some real musical magic and jamming within - these kids have the gift......

"Lovable" Ingleside. I've
"Lovable" Ingleside.
I've never heard of that neighborhood referred to that way. It's not hip like the Mission or Noe Valley, and almost everybody I know, including people who have lived in SF for a long time have never heard of it or don't know where it is, but for me it actually is lovable because for most of my life I've had relatives who lived there, and as a kid I spent countless hours goofing around up & down Monterey Avenue, just a few blocks away from that bar.
Good to see that dumpy old neighborhood get some love.
Go Ingleside!
