If he was starting a thread for every CD, that would be one thing. It's one thread. Pretty easy to avoid. Is it like visual Chinese water torture for you or something seeing the thread title hangin around? If so, take a step back.

So you object to Mylar's Hippie Hour thread as well. That was on the Zone for a looooong long time, and it remains here on this zone, and it never bothered me, or anyone that I can remember. So what gives here?
I agree the thread is basically narcissistic in nature and also shows the guy who started it has issues of being in control. The thread does little to engage anyone but himself- my guess is this dude’s on the spectrum or has way too much time on his hands. Plus, a large percentage of the CD’s listed are pure pedestrian garbage.

I am engaged. I presume that I am not the only person who has been reminded of music from my past by reading about it on the list Bluestnote started. Bluelight was also a frequent contributor for awhile. Part of the joy of viva for me is hearing about other people's music and going through a specific category (commercially recorded CDs in this case) is a great way of organizing it. I haven't seen "issues of control" as appearing on the CD thread. I disagree with most of your assessment; narcissistic?
Bluestnote seems to have a lot of time on his hands while working; he is at work but they may not have work for him. Why not use some of that time with a project like this?
Mylar's thread, the bitcoin thread, there may be others that have been active for a long while - so?
