Derek's slide can annoy folks after while- I can see that -- but he always has a great band.
ST is a rare talent - and she can play as well. I'll take her over most of the female talent out there these days- but I don't want to be too picky. A lot of that around here.
Saw Derek when he was 18 at the Zephyr- very hot show with his first band- they let me punch in the board that night....

I don't really like ST's voice - sounds kind of forced, or the tone of DT's slide - sounds kind of industrial and monochromatic.
However, they do get into a zone from time to time.
