Was there even a game on? Seems like there was an ad every 2 minutes. I changed channels after about 10 minutes of that. Not a fan of football anyway.

I try to watch the 'best-of'
I try to watch the 'best-of' SB ads every year on YouTube or such. No live TV here, so no bowl games. But it's hard for me to justify the time spent watching hours of ads. Rather take the Dawg for a run, cook something, go for Vietnamese food, sand the floor...
Although some of the ads are very creative and all.

It's funny. I watched the game w/ Bluest and another buddy on the NBC Roku app, so we got very few of the commercials, and played music instead.
Definitely a different approach to Super Bowl Sunday.

Ah Turtle, ever the
Ah Turtle, ever the iconoclast.
The adds can be interesting to watch because of the artistic & creative effort put in to them. I figure most of the people making those commercials are at least as talented as most directors making major movies, since the money is HUGE.
Still, I don't end up paying much attention to them because I'm either jabbering with friends or messing around between the game action, but I did enjoy the Tide add early on that was sort of mocking all Super Bowl adds by saying that ALL adds are Tide adds if the clothes are clean in the add.
Pretty smart and well made, and there's nothing wrong with that.
