In 2014-15 Blake Griffin played 67 games. 15-16, 35 games. 16-17, 61 games for a total of....ummm...errrr....carry the 12....he played 1630 games! No wait he played 163 games and missed 83 games meaning he missed 33.73% AKA 1/3rd of the games.
So, you were correct. He has missed more than 20% of his games for the past few seasons.
Let us not forget that all of those games weren’t missed due to injury. He was suspended four games for punching out a much smaller team employee that he claimed to be friends with. Of course, he DID break his hand punching that guy out, which made him miss even more games.
It’s going to be strange if and when the day comes when LeBron isn’t “the man” on his NBA team. I could never see him going to the Warriors where he couldn’t boss people around.
So let’s be real here. You, Lou Adler and the rest of the Lakers fair-weather fans got so used to winning that you couldn’t stomach it when times got tough and you bailed. Not because they had done it all. Because they started sucking.
