I'm the only skater in the family. Can't skate on the channels out back, bunch of folks have de-icers, which agitate the water and keep it from freezing.
Today is laundry day, maybe a movie. The boy wants to see Hour of Darkness
Was out until the Wee hours, maybe 5-6 hours total. I generally keep the water line running on trickle for freeze prevention when temps are in the teens or low twenties. There's also 'heat tape' on the line running from the cellar to upstairs. Both the well pump and the heat tape require electricity.
Fortunately nothing froze. I guess there was enough reserve pressure in the tank to maintain the flow for a few hours.
But I completely missed the JRAD stream, which I've enjoyed the other nights. Nice that they put their shows up on Archive.
