I just became aware of this series of compilation albums that collect the best obscure tracks of protometal, heavy psych, hard rock from the 70's. I've been listening on and off today and there some amazing tracks.

Ran into these guys @ the Phil Coney Island shows who claimed they made their liquid using moonshine, they had the extra large size Visine vial pretty full, it was a very brown liquid, they said the moonshine made it change color, they puddled me, even after seeing 4 shows in the previous 5 days (Panic then Phil) I was still tripping balls that night . . .

agreed, I had some dark purple stuff at the maritime in 01' that was really strong but didn't feel none too clean at all.
