Neighbor Farmer Sets Self On Fire, Plows Driveway...

Forums:

So it snowed a bunch late Wednesday into Thursday afternoon.  I'd already brought whatever Firewood I could out of the woods Wednesday, split it, filled the pickup and parked by the barn with easy access to the road.  I finally go out Thursday afternoon as the snow eases off to clear off the truck,  but I got lucky,  the Wind cleared off the hood and windshield,  and the tarp stayed in place over the Firewood.

Then I realize someone has plowed the driveway from the barns all the way to the road !!

What the Heck ?  Which Good Samaritan accomplished this act of trespassing and Random Kindness ??

>>>Neighbor Farmer Sets Self On Fire

Huh?!

Frankly, I'm let down. I expected a much juicier post when I looked at the thread title.

But, nice of whomever to have plowed the road. Kudos. One of my neighbors ran their snowblower across my sidewalk, for which I am grateful. Not sure which one, or I would provide some goodies.

Huh?!

just like The Buddhist crisis

but here it's the farmer that has to live next to the OP

Chonks would be mean like that too.

So I thought about it a while as the Sun went down and Hüsky had Dinner.  Couldn't have been the County,  the people across the road didn't have their own driveway cleared,  so it must have been that neighbor farmer.  A likely suspect as he's got all sorts of Farm equipment,  often running.

I decided to give him a call.  That's when I heard his bizarre tale of conflagration and Snow-plowing.

>>>That's when I heard his bizarre tale of conflagration

SO, when are WE going to hear it??

Please include the part about the conflagration.

We've been Rivera'd. Is that a meme?

I had to specifically ask my "good samaritan" neighbor to NOT plow my driveway, as he digs the plow into my dirt driveway, requiring weeks of backbreaking work in the spring to fix, then he pushes the giant pile of snow, sticks, rocks, dirt, and leaves right in front of my garage at the corner of my house at the bottom of the hill where it's then impossible for me to do anything to it, since all the rocks & sticks make it impossible to snowblow w/o possibly damaging my snowblower.  I now have a new, really powerful snowblower, so it's no problem for me to take care of snow clearing myself, unless there's more than, say, 2'.  It is taking me some time today since it's so cold out (new snowblower does have hand warmers which is Awesome) & the wind is really blowing so I have to stop every time a gust kicks up.  Oh he also chain smokes & throws his butts all over my property.  That REALLY pisses me off!

Stu got so drunk he doesn't remember plowing his own driveway. Why drink so much? You're living the dream

I thought this was about a new method of snow removal.

I had my doubts.

I'm still a bit disappointed.

I really meant to finish the story,  but had "Grown-Up" and "Outdoor"  projects to accomplish.

When you grow up,  you realize that certain things have to be done before Dark.

As people mature,  they learn more Stuff.  All part of getting older...  I'm in the mid - 20's and starting to grow armpit hair.  Also my voice is changing.

So let me get to the part about the Neigbhor catching ablaze soon.

I meant to link that for Sideshow, Floops.

Forgot.

Good morning, Bluest.

I should have posted the pic of the headline, but am too lazy right now.

Woah....that story Floops !!

Crazy, he def could of been on our neighbors in CT.....some weird folks up there...deep in the woods !!

What happened to the snowblower tho ?

Hi, Lyn. Yeah, I guess we're curators of the crazy people in this world.

Naw my worst neighbor moved back in 2005 - in fact the plow guy is the next neighbor over & caused the "bad neighbor" next to me to move - they were apparently almost on the verge of shooting each other @ various points, or so I heard.  I get along with everyone very well now.  In fact, Fat Old Retired Guy with Long Stringy Hair in Sweatpants with Rusty Old Pickup Truck is practically an Archetype in my Town - I have lots of Dopplegangers when I bring my trash to the Town transfer station on Saturday mornings.

So I've been meaning to catch up with this true story,  about the details.

This is a great Other Stuff thread.

Disco stu is one of the main reasons why women don't post or join viva.

Thread delivers!
