Which just about gave me a heart attack.
So I finally opened the last batch of electric bills. There's one for the Barn, and one for the Shack.
Barn is typically 12, 15, 18 bucks. But not this time
They said I owed them over 500 dollars ????
So I spent hours making telephone calls to talk with the Electric Company people. I explained that it's just rather unusual for *that* to happen, and What The Fuck ??
No, I'm not running BitCoin Miners in the Barns, no sudden new Electrical appliances drawing more current, not even a Trouser Press.

So after speaking with the Residential and then Commercial billing reps, we attained some sort of resolution; they admitted that there was probably a mistake.
I asked if they could send a letter confirming that.
We'll see what happens.

The nice people w/ Customer Service spoke a bunch of arcane gibberish, but admitted there was a mistake. I told them to put that in a letter and mail it.
It also seems that they've been billing me at "Medium Usage" rate when it should be "Low Usage".
I sort of doubt that they will credit me for the discrepancy, but they promised to adjust the stellar $500+ bill to something more realistic...
Flips me out when Crazy stuff like this happens.

I immediately suspected Hüsky of some type of Canine chicanery; however he stays indoors every night, not roaming the barns. Also he has never figured out electricity, not even light switches. He is a Good-Hearted animal, but not fiendishly intelligent. Once he found some AAA batteries to chew, but did not eat them.
Stealing a Pizza, Steak or Calzone is one thing, and I can laugh that off -- if he got to it before me, well well well.
However, $500 is about two years worth of Electric bills, even at the High rate of $20 per month.
So I really hope they get it cleared up. For that kind of Cash, I could run a Sauna in those Barns. Actually, that would be nice.

No idea what is up with that place. It seems like it's mostly Ham-Star and co. talking to their own sock-puppet handles.
So if they figured out how to mine BTC through web traffic, that is interesting.
Already I believe that other people know more about the Crypto-coins than I.
While I admire the sketchy attributes of the system, and 'exchanges' which have been stolen / hacked with no recourse, it's all a bit tricky for me.

Computers do what you tell them to do.
You need to possess proper judgment to to make the decision about what to tell the computer to do.
I have noticed the current crop the past few years that have come into these positions have bad judgment.
I see this across multiple industries.
I have about a half dozen active bad judgment / incompetence issues going on.
All are rooted in ridiculous.
Never ceased to be amazed the number fo people out there that actually have jobs!
Stay on top of things, I've seen it rise to just being outright reckless in some cases lately.
