As much as I love Zep there really isn't a vault of unreleased shit. Im sure there are some alt versions, maybe a rockabilly cover or 2 but other than that someone bootlegged just about every one of their shows. It's all out there. The 50 year mark = $$$$$$. Just ask our fearless leader. He jumped on and climbed right off with a boat load of dough.

Word on the street from the guy who did the last set of re-masters is that he was working on a bunch of live stuff so bring on How the East Was Won and lets get an official Japan box rolling....

Jimmy still hasn't released the Seattle 1977 concert on DVD/BluRay - even after insisting in 2003 (after releasing the Led Zeppelin DVD) that there was nothing left in the video can.

Who said it was their best work? Most artists don't sell $200 million albums or have management that would beat your skull in when they were being fucked over or fucked with.

Nobody did Jonas.  What I was implying is it probably isn’t very good material or it would have been released a long time ago.

So while nobody has said it’s their best work, I’m saying it’s probably not very good.

Jimmy Page did.  Well he did the raping.  One of his crew did the kidnapping.

Well, statutory rape.  The 14 year old in question (Lori Mattix) claimed she "fell in love instantly"  with Jimmy Page after the "kidnapping."   She also claimed she had already lost her virginity to David Bowie by the time of her Led Zeppelin adventure.   You can read all the sordid details here:

As for the new material, there has to be a ton of live stuff waiting for the official release.  Just look at the number of bootlegs out there.   Jimmy Page is a bit of perfectionist and that's why there has only been a handful of live shows officially released over the years.   We will see how Page's quest for perfection interacts with his need to continue to line his own pockets by releasing "new" stuff.
