Tomorrow ~ making homemade snowflake shaped marshmallows ( Thanks to Timmy posting a pic of his homemade ones and sparked me to make some for my hot cocoa gift bags..:) ) , also making cannoli creme, choc covered salted caramels and homemade butter mints.
Then I am off to an Open House Toys for Tots event, and then to babysit with my niece and do some holiday crafting with her <3.
Sunday ~ Making cookies ( pizzelle, spritzer, anise drops, egg nog shortbread and pecan tarts... Bobs fav). Also need to wrap and deliver my sponsored family and Giving tree presents !
We'll be at the live broadcast of A Prairie Home Companion from NYC tonight. My birthday gift from Da Boy ("Your deluxe White People entertainment experience", as he put it).
Jeff Tweedy is on the bill. Not sure who else. But there's usually one extra-twangy act that's sure make the wife roll her eyes.
Might go check out a new Dead cover band tonight but really looking forward to Monday night at the monthly MOJO event. That's Mystic Order of Jazz Obsessives.
A couple of friends are playing and the year end event usually turns into a big jam.
