Sick Kitty

Thunder the kitty is sick. We took him to the vet this morning - he was very weak, wouldn't eat, peed on the floor. They're doing blood work. He's been hydrated and medicated, but he's not doing well. They don't know what's wrong with him.

hope he's feeling better. just a word of advice..take him home. the stress at the Vet's office is not good - at least go in the back and visit with your kitty if the vet is keeping him. make sure the catheter isn't crimped. and you can take him home, even with the IV in. trust me, he will be much happier. many male cats do get kidney stones/UTI.

So sorry to hear about this.
So sorry to hear about this. I have 2, an older one who has been acting sick lately & I got a whole series of blood tests done on him - no obvious problems. He's very aloof & just likes going out. The younger one (year and a half old) has grown up since I've retired so I'm around all the time, so he's really attached to me & sleeps with me/follows me around/begs for food - never had such a dog-like cat. He doesn't even want to go out that much, rather hang out w/me. My heart would break if anything ever happened to him. I even bring him on road trips when i visit Lyn in NJ. He's gotten used to the 4 hr trip in the cab of my truck.
