I suppose the demolition contractor does not wish to go back in there and set more charges,  as that would be a bit dangerous,  since people might get squished.

Those guys must have large insurance premiums.

What I find interesting about the partial implosion is how demolition needs to be engineered correctly or it might not be successful.  I'd be curious to know the frequency or rate of partial implosions?   In a similar light, what would be the odds of giant structures imploding after significant "random impacts" of forces typically used in demolition? 

Don't let yourself get distracted, FOM...stayed focused on the 'important' things.

The distraction is minimal in light of the larger question.
