Well thank you all very much. It was a different one for sure. It sounds sad but the events of yesterday are relieving to all my family. Had to bury last family dog that was ill and hung in there for a long time. That was in the morning.
In the afternoon, I was with my Mom and sister and finished the paper work to get my Dad into the local WWII nursing home.
Alzheimer's. He is also 100% disabled from the radiation sustained from the Nuclear and Thermonuclear bomb testing in the Bikini Atoll area of the Marshal Islands from 1946 to 52.
VA is paying for the home. Fucking A'.
Bittersweet yet feeling a sort of closure if that makes any sense.
