Forums:

Wow kinda maybe thought I would check something out, but man this is just sad

Fox – Primus

Warfield – STS9

Fillmore – Tycho

The Independent – Lucius

BGCC – Kaskade

Regency – M.O.A.N.Y NYE Countdown

Masonic – Stand Up

Oracle – Roberto Tapia and Ramon Ayala

After four years in a row seeing SCI in Broomfield, I had very early on in the year decided to try and get to the bay area if either Bobby or Phil were doing something ... guess I wished away cheese from Colorado as well ... but now kind of looking forward to taking it easy this year for a change.

Thanks for starting this thread, I was wondering about Bay area events, too.

Leftover Salmon @ Crystal Bay / Lake Tahoe is looking better all the time.

yeah none of those are worth having to deal with the amateur night crowd.

and China Cat's at moldy DonQ's is about it in my area, so I think I'll just stay home and play some old concert vids and get up relatively early for a mountain bike ride (trails will be empty).

Here's a few more:

Swedish American Hall - Con Brio

GAMH -Cracker/Camper Van Beethoven

Midway - Beats Antique

Cornerstone - Brothers Comatose

UC Theatre - CA Honeydrops

Freight - Pete Escovedo

Terrapin Crossroads - ???

Sweetwater - Lucero

Mystic Theatre - Tommy Castro

Hopmonk, Sebastopol - Hot Buttered Rum

The Ritz - X

Ace of Spades- Buckethead

Auburn Event Center - Dead Winter Carpenters

Thunder Valley Casino - Joan Jett & Blackhearts

I'll be at Nancy's

CA Honeydrops could be a fun party.

Miners Foundry Nevada City    Earles of Newtown   http://earlesofnewtown.com/#videos

This band is really Hot! Bob Woods is a fantastic guitar player

i'd be all over CVB/Cracker @ GAMH.

we're seeing them in mid January with a very rare Monks Of Doom performance @ the 40Watt

Yo Hall !

You shouldn't miss Primus ! They are AWESOME live !

**BAD INFO ALERT**

X is not performing at The Ritz on NYE.

PRIMUS for sure :)

Yeah, that X show is only listed on Jambase but not anywhere else, and The Ritz has a small DJ show listed for the 31st.

X is in SF the night before, and the owner of that place in San Jose is a friend of theirs, so maybe it will be a later add.

That would be cool.

Achilles Wheel will also be playing the Crazy Horse in Nevada City on Dec. 29th and 30th

i have to be in SF for 12/30 and NYE through the following Saturday, was poking around when i was out there last week for a quick afternoon / overnight trip and I saw very little of interest...probably just stay in the hotel as it will be a school night for me anyhows...

Hi. Have fun at the Wheel show Bart.

That AC show is out in the boonies. I wonder why they're not at the Miner's Foundry? You don't see per person/couple pricing often. Can one connect with any random stranger and get the discount or is there some sort of verification?

I also noticed the couple pricing structure.  I'm thinking as long as you follow the rules of consent on the dance floor, any random stranger should do.

Looks fun Mark D

California Kind hasn't announced anything....that would be fun

Lodging choices will be announced soon.  A great area. If it isn't snowing. That is the risk you take making NYE plans. East coast is totally out of the question.

In the name of thoroughness, I realize that the Maceo Parker shows haven't been listed on this thread.

He's playing four nights at the Miner Auditorium in SF, the 28th - 31st.

Carry on.
