Never heard them, but the Family German Shepherd Dawg was named "Kalu" way back when. Kalu was an awesome Doggie. Sister to "Arno" & daughter Pup of "Sabrina".
Unlike Hüsky, Kalu was a terrifying Watch-Dog. Fine with the Family, but would shred strangers. She actually shredded me one morning when I woke her up about age 3. My parents laughed it off, and explained "Let sleeping Dawgs Lie".
'Kalu' translates to 'Black' in Ürdu language. We got into that strain of Dawg in Pakistan.
Yeah, this throws a real wrench in the works of a potential birthday Cap run, doesn't it. Seems unlikely he'd play Cap on Thursday/Friday and then leave for the weekend, plus I doubt they'd want to fly day of show, so seems like Friday is out too.

Pretty much, lol. I can only think of two cool things about Hangout:
(1) Los Lobos getting a pretty sweet slot, basically chilling with an evening set on a Florida beach. Nice.
(2) Freebie'ing two weekend passes to the fest to a FL Zoner in 2014 or 2015 (Pete, was it?). Cool.
The yearly indie festival here is pretty much a disgrace. Curated by The National and still seems to fall flat every year.
