Chris Robinson's Brotherhood Tour Weeks 2017

My calender says I am seeing Chris Robinson's Brotherhood this Thursday, 11/2 at The Space in Westbury.
Looking forward to this show. All I need to do is spin their CD a couple of times & show up.
Anyone else going to see the CRB this tour?
They are playing 16 shows or so, between today (in Santa Barbara) and 12/1 (in Ore)

I just saw them Friday night
I just saw them Friday night at Hangtown. The band was in good form. Chris sounded good. Yes, play the CD a few times. Both ATGD and Redneck, big Crows fans, said it was one of the better shows they have seen. Right after CRB DSO played, all was good but Greensky Bluegrass just killed it last night.

Will be there, CRB has become a bit stale outside of Casal (setlists and sound have become a bit perfunctory ) but they always deliver that one cover or performance that keeps me coming back ( much more of a Magpie Salute fan in the battle of the Robinson bros. bands). Will be doing CRB doing the Space and The Cap this week..(along with Phil in Brooklyn and at The Cap plus Herring/ McClaughlin at The Cap on Sat)..good week of live music ahead..

Chris' guitar playing is far better than the last time I saw him. As someone next to me remarked, "150 shows a year will do that". This band is definitely worth another look. I'm told that Betty Cantor-Jeckson was on sound last night, so maybe we're looking at Betty's Blend 4?

Great show. 3 hrs, lots of
Great show. 3 hrs, lots of good songs/good jamming. I really like these guys & will go see them far more often (this was my 1st time seeing a full headliner show, seen them @ festivals & as opening acts 4 - 5 times before). Really felt like these guys are playing music for the love of playing music. $30 tix @ a small venue half full, 3 hr's of original jammy music, what could be better? Kudos to Chris Robinson, someone whose Personae I've found Annoying in the past, for not just taking the Rock Star route by burying the axe temporarily with his brother & doing repeated Black Crowes "we play all the hits" reunion tours @ hockey barns for $100+ a tix so weekend warriors can karaoke along to the hits they remember from high school. Sound like DeadCo/Guns & Roses/etc? Yup, as Krusty the Clown said "They drove a huge wheelbarrow full of money up to my back door, what was I to do?"
