As a percussion addict, I find this (in best Spock voice) "Fascinating..."

This was under the "Global Drum project" name, but did you ever see this fascinating piece of drumming?

Honestly, I normally find Mickey Hart one step removed from the antichrist, but Planet Drum  was an amazing thing to behold. Glad I got to see them all a few times on that tour.

Loved his books.

^^ He has a new album.

read some articlez about new album last night....ill wait to listen to share my opinion, but, most interesting thing in one article was at end where mickey says that bob, billy, and he may be recording some new Hunter tunes??

hmmmm....

maybe they can get that Shearing guy on guitar

I've listened to the 3 cuts on the new album that he's released. I like Big Bad Wolf, which he did with Tank for Tank and the Bangas.

All of what Mickey is about is our connection to the vibratory world.

This is my standard Halloween disc every year.

and in between once and a while!

We used to play Rhythm Devils Play Rive Music - Apocalypse Now sessions for Halloween, along with Tubular Bells.

Yes I was thinking of the Apocalypse now sessions, thanks.

The Mickey Produced continuation of those Sessions "Airto - The Other Side of This"

is is cool mind bending stuff too.

I host this quick interview with Mickey Hart on my YouTube channel at the NYE '82 I was at. Love Mickey!

Mickey is smoking a fat joint & offers universal insight.
