John Scofield on Long Island

I was planting some seeds and expressed the desire for John Scofield to play on Long Island.
His people are interested in having John play on here.
If there is any interest is seeing John Scofield at the Boulton Center in Bayshore or another theater on Long Island, please chime in.

I would go, I'm a big Sco fan
I would go, I'm a big Sco fan. We saw him years ago at Lynn University in Fort Lauderdale. I had front row seats in the balcony and the view and sound was fantastic. I'm not a big dress up kind of guy but I wasn't a lot rat that night either. The crowd was uptight and a lot of vests and hip daddy hats. The crowd had a funky vibe with little clap clap after each song and NO ONE was standing much less dancing. John had a backing band of 3 and they were tearing this place down with their playing.
I was at a live concert so you know I was on a very copious amount of fun. There was a good deal of leg room between me and the balcany knee high wall and I was leaning forward in my seat with my ass still planted on the pad. The lady dressed to the nines with her glittery dress and big hat with feathers in it and those old time opera glasses on a stick fuckin things tapped me on the shoulder 3 times in the first set telling me to sit back in my seat and stop leaning forward.
My wife could tell I was getting pissed and wanted to swap seats but I said no and continued trippin balls.
The show was jammin and I leaned forward in my seat again and tappin my toes when she tapped me for the fourth time and asked if I knew how to sit in a seat properly.
I snapped.
I can't telly exactly what I yelled but it was loud and it was rude.
It was bad enough that I had to sit in my chair as they were fuckin ragging on stage much less have someone tell me how to sit.

By me implementing these 2 concerts, this is truly the epitome of spreading the music and it's total joke to mock me for it.
One of the theaters holds 1200 folks and is a landmark theater that was just renovated. Hardly a "shitty theater."

Taste is different from person to person. Los Lobos play at a tiny club on the tip of Cape Cod every summer. Pretty awesome, but that isn't to say there's a better town for arts - or even music in particular - on the Cape than there is in Boston (Somerville / Cambridge, but then conside Plymouth NH, Providence RI, or even beginning to take into account bands that circumvent playing directly in the city and favoring some town in the Berks, in the Catskills, some place along Happy Valley. etc).
It's okay to say things we don't mean sometimes, but you can't account for taste.
We can mutually agree to disagree as far as opinions on music go, in a non shitty way, I'm quite sure
