We had a Pig here a couple years ago, coëxisting with the Sheep in the Barnyard. The Labrador got along with the Pig. I wonder how Hüsky would do with a Hog or two. To H.I.M. "Sheep" spells 's.n.a.c.k.i.e.s.' but Pigs are smarter. I suppose I ought to acquire a few and if Hüsky gets along with them, fabulous.
The Pig which we had was a genial fellow. He'd come up to the fence and say 'Hi' and let you pat him on the head. Always happy to see the Labrador. I think Pig was lonesome being stuck with the Sheep, as they are not at his intellectual level.
He evolved into delicious chops, roasts, Ribs and Bacon.

Factory farming sucks. Bad
Factory farming sucks. Bad for people, the environment, and the animals.
On the other hand, wild pigs are considered nuisance animals in many places, and if folks want bacon, they can always go out get some that way.

I love pork, also, but don't
I love pork, also, but don't eat it too often. The meat market I go to has pork that had a better life than most pigs, and that makes me happy.
