He ate a nice package of Cured Bacon, which was in a sack in the hatchback.
I thought that it was safe enough back there, while I dropped in to the Convenience Shoppe to replenish His water cup with some Ice-Cold stuff.
But Hüsky is sooo Clever and Quick.
He thieves the Bacon before you know it...
And he is very proud
He left the packaging material.

Here's the thing, Mr. Fly.
Here's the thing, Mr. Fly.
If I leave Tasty Bacon in his wheeled Dog - Habitat, his belief is "Ooohh, the Hu-Person left me a Snacky..."
So I can barely chastise H.I.M. for stealing that Food, but can't provide faint praise, either.
Don't kick the Big Dawg, ever. I used to yell at H.I.M. when he was Bad, but these days I just mention that "Hüsky futures are at a new High today, would you like to Re-Home in China ??"
He actually has the Cushy Life here, and appreciates a Bacon - Pack every so often.
I really feel awful if I even raise my voice at all. So definitely no kicking, no yelling, no harsh language. I waved the packaging - material about and said "You think you're pretty Clever, Eehhhhh ??"
Once in a while I take away his Television screen if he neglects his Latiin studiies or stays out past Curfew.
After He stole the Bacon, he was on a strict diet of Only grain-free Kibble for many hours. But it's really the Good Stuff, so what the fuck has he learned anyway. I'm pretty certain he will steal Bacon again, given the chance.

If you hadn't allowed H.I.M.
If you hadn't allowed H.I.M. access to literature as a pup, he wouldn't be smarter than you now.
You meant well.

My Mom and Dad came to visit
My Mom and Dad came to visit me after going to the grocery store and it was a beautiful day and the windows to their car was open. Mr. Milo my cat jumped in to look at the bags of food. He was a very curious cat that loved psilocybin mushrooms. When they were a few blocks away the cat realized the car was moving and he stated bitchin real loud. My Dad turned around and let the cat out but also noticed the cat ripped open some pork chops and ate one.
That Mr Milo was a good one.

Im messing stu. Never black
Im messing Stu. Never black you eye or kick you dog! I got one of the masters. Its instinct. In my hut If you leave food stuffs any where he can get them, its your fault. Many a tasty treat has been lost to the quick swipe. He is fond of the bread family. I don't blame him. I just modify my behavior.

He was OK after the Bacon Lb.
He was OK after the Bacon Lb.
I thought it might upset the Digestive system, but heck no. Some extra Water to wash away the extra Salt.
Back on the normal Dog Food regimen now, except I gave H.I.M. some Chicken skin from the BBQ Chicken I bought for Linner.
The fellow does a nice job; Apple, Cherry & Oak is the smoke flavor. I miight bring some Splits :: he's only about 4 miles away.
Even a Lazy fucker like me can manage that

My sister’s coon hound drank
My sister’s coon hound drank a couple of gallons of homemade egg nog that was put out in the snow on the back steps. It had about fifth of bourbon and cognac in it. The dog was so drunk it nearly fell down the stairs. The next day was Christmas day with all the kids running around screaming. The dog was completely hung over with blood shot eyes just laid there all day.

Hüsky's never had any Booze,
Hüsky's never had any Booze, so hasn't acquired a taste for it.
If he gets old & achey, I'll feed H.I.M. the proper CBD extracts in Dog - sized doses, but so far he is (mostly) drugless.
Couple weeks of antibiotics for a paw infection, and the mandatory vaccines excepted. 'Heart-Gard +' for heartworm prevention; that makes H.I.M. act a bit sluggish for about 12-15 hours.
I think he is fine without Booze or Dope. Someone has to stay Clean to drive home late at night after Liberace Tribute Tour shoes
