My neighbor, who lives across the street in Lakeport just sent me an email with these photos
titled - FIRE
I swear, I stopped breathing
He said the hill above our houses caught on fire, he thinks fro kids smoking cigarettes up there
Hopefully it is fully contained?!?!?!
he said firefighters were on it

Sending out some serious love for you and the firefighters!
Stay safe and watch out for those delinquents smoking. Haven't they heard about vaping?? Better for the lungs, land and the neighbors.
Dance a few for us in NYC!

Landscape in the photos looks
Landscape in the photos looks like low-growing dry brush, not tons of combustible Pine trees near houses.
Could make a nice brush-fire, but looks like you & neighbors keep it mowed / weed-whacked. Second photo appears as if homeowners spread a lot of gravel around the slope to act as fire barrier.
I'm in swampy / Wetland habitat so not much fire danger here, plus it rained a bunch all Spring and Summer.
Have FUN back East and I'll send a Jerseyland rainstorm out to Sebastopol
