a couple of the okayer ones from last few years. But yea the majority of the cartoon nonsense does nothing for me. Plus they animated it for the sphere in case you want to see doofus posters in motion
Serves as my office so I spend a good number of hours a day in here being a fully remote employee now. It's chaos but rarely looks the same one week to the next
Sweet. You are motivating me to go thru my stash and switch stuff out while I hide out in the house avoiding the heat. One of those "one day, I'll....." projects.
I have a couple dozen always up and a couple portfolio books and boxes in a nice spot in the basement. Outside some iconic GD artwork, I tried to limit myself to shows I attended. So the bulk of my collection dates from 1985 to 2010 (my Bay area heavy show years).
One of my best scores was finding frames that fit the Fillmore posters without the expense of matting them. I think I found those in San Rafeal.
I wish I knew a youngster that I could pass the collection on to, as it would be a hassle to e-bay them all. I have a friend in the poster art biz and apparently it's hard to make a buck outside the mint-quality graded classics and rarities.
Another shameless plug, Zoner Burnz has an (I think) quarterly poster auction. He's extremely knowledgeable and generous with answering questions. Yes, we have a rule against posting for commercial or business purposes, including advertising, marketing or offering goods or services, whether or not for a charge or through linking with any other web site or web pages, but Alan's and this is a quick one-time exception. Stay tuned, I could change my mind at any time.
Thanks Judit. Sorry, I'm not thinking straight today -- had a CT scan with contrast earlier -- which just adds to the brain fog.
I think some Zoners would know my buddy Glen thru the music scene and he is also very into poster education and sharing his knowledge. A decent chap. (My post 1985 stuff is typically a bit too recent for him, though.)

nice job fishcane.
nice job fishcane.
I'm stuck in the past. Meters, Phil, SCI, Zero, etc. Mostly all the stuff they handed me / I acquired at Bay area shows.
Sadly, I had to stop collecting posters. Most are in storage. I honestly don't know what to do with them all.
