Your First Concert

Forums:

I was trying to think of positive things that will come out of 2020. One that comes to mind is we all get to experience a first concert again in our favorite venues. I wonder what mine will be?

Bikini Kill rescheduled from sept 2020 to nov 2021, so...

When I'm convinced it won't turn out to be my last than it will be my first...

A TTB show would soothe my soul, and get my bones shaking too.

Oh yes, was suppose to see TTB in Philly 7/7 had (still have) seats in the front section. I am so missing the energy and jubilation of live shows! I'm like a needy addict when I go out in public, I'm just so so so glad to see another piece of human DNA protoplasm that I get giddy that I've actually seen, talked to, and interacted with 4D humans again. TTB would be a GREAT first show to see in full force again. Are we becoming born again concert virgins? To reclaim some of that magic would be fun, although you know for me and I'm sure others here, we still get a little moist when we go see live music. I have never lost the excitement and ritual of going to shows and I never will.

PRESUMABLY... DSO is rolling in here in December as a make-up for a canceled April show.

No shows for me until there is a proven effective vaccine.

DSO has new dates doing the live in/drive in concert thing on 9/5 & 9/6.

Supposedly, it will be Cake at the Aladdin on October 2.   It had been rescheduled from March and so far, its still on the calendar.   We will see.

Technically, the Guns n Roses show in Seattle on Aug. 2 is still on the schedule, but I seriously doubt that will happen.  I guess they are waiting until the last second to formally postpone it.

I still have tickets for close to a dozen shows that have been rescheduled to 2021.
