Don't mean to steal Mr. Lance Heathentom's thunder, because he deserves nothing but props and kudos for completing a 40 year stint in public service and education,  but I wanted to share some good news I received a couple of hours ago.  After seven months of twisting in the wind, I just received the lab results from my skin cancer biopsy, and they came back negative, meaning I am cancer-free and have a clean bill of health.  It was nice to be able to share some good news with my family.  Thanks to all who have shared kindness and support, as well as those who've provided many artistically inspiring, culturally informing and welcome moments of comic relief.  Further!

I still find it weirdly ironic that I had dated Creek Head's daughter briefly without having any idea of the relation.

I joined in 2010 too btw.  Needed a ride across country for the Furthur Festival!  Made it.
