Parasite

Forums:

Trump mocked it, we're going to see it tonight.

"Neon, the company that distributed "Parasite" in the United States, tweeted its response to Trump's remarks. "Understandable, he can't read,"

We know who the real parasite is.

<<"Understandable, he can't read,"

Yep

Good movie, but yes, without being able to read the subtitles, it wouldn't make much sense.

Quite the fun flick.  Thumbs up.

Dark comedy with some gratuitous  violence. I loved the first 3/4 of the movie, great acting and cinematography.

I found the violence in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood to be more gratifying and necessary.

New meaning to POTUS

Parasite on the U.S.

I'm not a movie guy and don't know anything about this movie.

Is it about the Shakedown scene that surrounded & helped destroy the Grateful Dead?

I wish I could have the hours I spent watching both once upon a time and Irishman back . They both sucked balls

Irishman sucked.

Two good films  people might have missed, the two popes and motherless Brooklyn oh and the ronsdant documentary btw the new Robbie Robertson film on the Band, I'll see it eventually but they interviewed Garth and then didn't use his comments. A little one sided about things don't ya think

I initially thought it was a remake of the 1982 schlock film with Demi Moore.

easily the best film i saw last year.

endgame & once upon a time...  round out the top three

I liked it, interesting story with all kinds of symbolism. A good amount of dry humor and some violence in the climatic final scenes. Don't sit too far back and wear your glasses for the subtitles.  Thumbs up. (The director's name is Bong which gave me a chuckle.)

"Among its numerous accolades, Parasite won a leading four awards at the 92nd Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature Film. It became the first South Korean film to receive Academy Award recognition, as well as the first film in a language other than English to win Best Picture.[note 1]It also won the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Filmand the BAFTA Award for Best Film Not in the English Language, and became the first non-English-language film to win the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture."

"The Divine Miss M" on Twitter. Nice, Bette.

"At his rally, #Trump complained about #Parasite winning the Oscar. I’m more upset that a parasite won the White House."
