I'm happy with Mr. Schiff. I heard him speak today and he spoke well to forcefully make a case. Might fall on deaf ears, but I think he's doing well.
And I think his temperament has been good throughout this whole thing. I imagine there's been more than a time or two during this months-long ordeal when he wanted to lose it and go ballistic.
But he's been respectful. Maybe there's better, but he's done OK IMNSHO.
And hey, I live in Utah. I'm not used to agreeing with a politician who represents me on an issue, so this is kinda new for me and maybe I'm not so fussy because of that. LOL.
Trump will win 2020 and it's not because the impeachment process invigorated anyones love of Trump. 3 main factions: the morons that have truly believed all the bullshit and propaganda spread; and the 'intelligent' morons that somehow have the unique ability to misread practically every move made and still hold fast that Hillary was not the better choice and lastly the 'burn it all down' libertarians.
We will have Trump for another for years --- and you better believe that the fuck ups made during that time will impact all of us.
Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator. The Democrats have all the tools they need. Meuller reports, tapes and texts, admissions, evidence of obstruction. The litigators are licking their chops.
Nobody is above the law. Pelosi said that. Everyone believes that. It's all coming to an end soon. He can't run again. They have evidence. Schiff said so.
Matt Regan, senior vice president of public policy for the Bay Area Council, said the traffic congestion is rooted in the estimated 200,000 people who commute on weekdays from the Central Valley cities such as Stockton, Tracy and Manteca, “where we have outsourced housing.”
He supported the Terraces project because it would provide local housing and “urge you to take a long, hard look at this project and perhaps approve it as quickly as possible.” He urged the city commissioners to “look at the big picture” of housing.
The lies he has repeatedly propagated that are easily verified.....
1) ‘We have more than circumstantial evidence that there was coordination between Trump and Russia, and Russia influenced the election.’
Yea, not so much. Robert Mueller disagrees.
2) The Nunes memo was false.
Well, upon release of the Horowitz report we now know that it was spot on.
3) The FISA process was fine.
Again, the Horowitz report blasts this out of the water, and just yesterday we learn that the FISA court agrees.
4) "We look forward to hearing from the whistleblower"
Not really.
5) "We haven't spoken... with the 'Whistleblower'"
Laughable and now known to be a lie, his staff had repeated contact with him and groomed him all along.
6) Mr. Z is Mr. Zelensky, when in fact it was Mr. Zlochevsky.
But when you are pushing a false narrative it helps to lie a bit.
7) "Parodied" a call that we have the transcript of in order to push another false narrative.
Again, when the facts don't support you, lie about them.
Yes, Adam Schiff is a modern day Cicero.

trump was swept up by a “completely bogus” " Kremlin pushed" Ukraine theory spearheaded by attorney Rudy Giuliani.
Rep. Sylvia Garcia of Texas, herself a former judge, said there is “no evidence, nothing, nada” to suggest that Biden did anything improper in dealings with Ukraine.
"Right matters," quoting Army officer Lt. Col. Alex Vindman who had testified in the House. “Otherwise we are lost.”
No president has ever used his office to compel a foreign nation to help him cheat in our elections,” Rep. Jerrold Nadler of New York, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, told the senators. He said the nation's founders would be shocked. "The president's conduct is wrong. It is illegal. It is dangerous."

I don't think anyone can say with a straight face that Trump didn't withhold aid to try to pressure Ukraine into opening a politically motivated investigation. Pretty obvious what happened.
While I personally believe that this is exactly the sort of abuse of office that warrants impeachment, the GOP, rather than denying the obvious, could effectively argue that although the call to Zelensky was tacky and inappropriate, it was ultimately just politics as usual and doesn't rise to the level of badness to warrant removing the president and reversing the will of the people (i.e. electoral college).

I could see that if the only thing on the table was trump getting cheeky on one phone call, but multiple ambassadors and aides from the state department have testified that there was an on going concerted effort to secretly coerce Ukraine into fabricating a baseless investigation for purely political motives.

b-ry, hey buddy.....like when clinton was being impeached your angry little puppet man lindsay...(lol), was saying ALL the things the democrats are now. do you find that hypocritical?
>>>I'd say "baseless" is a bit of a stretch...please elaborate of Biden's purity of motive, thank you.
No problem, bry, hope you’re having a good impeachment.
i’ll concede ‘baseless’ may have been a bit of a stretch myself.
to b clearer, I feel hunter biden’s involvement in the Ukraine was indeed an inappropriate, unethical, nepotistic conflict of interest that deserved scrutiny at the time.
it warranted investigations by our intelligence agencies and those that took place found no evidence of criminal activity.
To secretly try and have it looked into again without any valid reason prompting the need for further investigation is an obviously purely politically motivated act, particularly from an administration who has done virtually nothing to battle corruption or unethical nepotism at home or abroad.
more importantly, a president insisting a gov’t struggling with corruption itself b the ones to get to the bottom of the alleged corruption of our own citizens makes no sense and gives the impression that any pressure to do so was simply a hallow effort to give the appearance of new scandal when there was none.
hope all that helps u understand, I’ll need more clarification on what you’re referring to for my thoughts on “the purity of biden’s motives” if you’d really like me to elaborate furthur.
Thanks for keeping it civil.
for the record, I think the pink pussy hats are kinda dumb but I’m a little disappointed you’d openly mock the people who wear them as that’s a little insensitive
First off...I hope you're watching the PGA in La Jolla [had a guy hit us in our lane of the 101 that lived in La Jolla, he was in our lane of the 101 shortly after midnight with his lights off, told CHP he was "testing the definition of his reality". We were headed to the Warfield to see Jerry, the car was totaled, we all walked away, although my buddy who was an assistant to Dr. Timothy Leary broke his ankle].
"it warranted investigations by our intelligence agencies and those that took place found no evidence of criminal activity."
^ I'm no so sure about that...not trying to nitpick about it, but seriously, it's pretty egregious.
An Orwellian "through the looking glass" moment...if this doesn't alarm you, it may be a strong indication you're completely brainwashed and should avoid CNN & MSNBC for a period of at least 28 days.
"The president's misconduct cannot be decided at the ballot box...for we cannot be assured that the vote will be fairly won."

In all seriousness, thinking a step ahead of the game...when Schiff's latest scam comes to its fitting end on Friday, what's his next move? Somehow I just don't see this scumbag walking off quietly into the night. Truth be told, happiness is not the absence of problems, but the ability to deal with them. Imagine all the wondrous things your mind might embrace if it weren’t wrapped so tightly around your struggles. Always look at what you have, instead of what you have lost. Because it’s not what the world takes away from you that counts; it’s what you do with what you have left.
I can just imagine the look on Pelosi's face when she has to sit behind Trump during Tuesday night's State of the Union address when the guy goes on and on about how wonderful he is.

In all seriousness, thinking a step ahead of the game...when Schiff's latest scam comes to its fitting end on Friday, what's his next move? Somehow I just don't see this scumbag walking off quietly into the night. Maybe he'll go on a whining tour bellyaching to the brainwashed masses of Hillary supporters, booking conference rooms at Marriotts up and down the I-95 corridor peddling VIP meet & greet packages.
