Raiders gonna Raider

Forums:

I think they are just happy to get out of Gruden's contract now that all the luxury box and personal seat license contracts are signed.

2DankDan must be a seething, foaming mess right about now.

chucky is fucky

He's always been an asshole. Turns out he's a racist asshole.

Thank God the NFL has eradicated Racism, sexism and homophobia by getting rid of Gruden.

Lord, sigmund, nobody said that.  But go to bat for the shitbag, if you want.

The whole thing is funky.

Gruden had to go based on all the crap that's apparently in those emails, but the timing is weird.

How long has the league known about those emails? That's what I want to know.

These emails were discovered from the investigation into the ex-Redskins that's been going on for over two years now. Did the league just get the Gruden details in the past week or two? Or did they hold onto them to be used to their advantage somehow, at the huge expense of the Raiders organization?

Because the timing of all this REALLY fucks the Raiders in the ass. If this had gone down in July or even August they would have been able to adjust as a team, but five weeks into the season the head coach/head of everything who runs the entire team and specifically the design and playcalling of the offense is suddenly tossed out? Man, what a mess that is for the team.

I never bought into the conspiracy theory against the Raiders, I've always thought that was just a convenient excuse every time something went wrong. There's no question that the league hated Al Davis and I'm sure they enjoyed everything that ever went wrong for him, but he's long gone and they're now HEAVILY invested in making the Las Vegas Raiders a success, and unlike his father, Mark Davis is an easily manipulated pawn to the league, so unless the details did all just come out recently for everyone involved, I don't see any reason why the story broke and the hammer came down in the middle of the season.

Maybe they were working hard behind the scenes to kill the story and couldn't, but whatever the real story is, this is a HUGE, disastrous mess for the Raiders organization.

I don't think he deserves a pass!

Who else ,,, nobody? 11years? My only point

I enjoyed Chucky more as a commentator. He was a bit whacked but fun and played it cool/upbeat because he wanted a HC job.

The question is was he targeted? If so, by who. Why? Did the NFL need a sacrificial lamb in an effort to look like they have sincere concerns regarding social equity/justice? Doubt it because at the end of the day the owners don't really care, unless it impacts revenues and image I suspect. Maybe he was the "dumb one" who made it more than words in the wind? Was he deemed a time bomb? There's no shortage of egos and assholes in the owners club. How's does Snyder get a pass on the Cheer Leaders video?

If the NFL wants to improve their image they should release all the emails. Never happen.

Chucky was right in calling Goodell a limp dick, gotta give him that.

We will have to wait and see but this feels like they are getting in front of flood of shit that is yet to come out, I also have no doubt that Goodell and the league fuck with teams they don't like. Vegas pro football is a license to print money I don't see anything turning that machine off.

I happened to be talking to my friend at the bar yesterday; he used to be the head attorney for the NFL Players Association. I asked him what he thought of the situation, and 2 minutes later my phone buzzed with ESPN telling me he'd been fired/quit.

Weird timing on everything, my friend agrees it's totally questionable and strange.

But clearly the bottom line is he's a scumbag, just really questionable what the motive actually is.

Dank.   Lol

Racist scumbag as sacrificial lamb is a stretch.laugh

bumping this thread simply for loving the title (;

>>>No "Cover-up here. Jerry Jones is definitely NOT racist (sarc)

And Dan Snyder isn't a sexist... :\

And Robert Krafts sex slaves are just "friends with a connection".

Congressional committee requests NFL report on Washington team by Nov. 4th

Thank god Congress has never covered anything up

Get it done Raiders

I like how they say "invited".

But nothing will come of it. The Super Rich and the Super Powerful never pay their due.

As for Kap, it's hard to say where he's at after all this time. He wasn't a great player but he was good with real skills, and at least a few years ago he was easily better than at least half of the backup QBs in the league.

If he ends up on a team he'd likely cause some havoc with the media at first, but after a few games into the season I doubt at this point if he'd cause that much stir.

But can he still play at all?
