Garaj Mahal late to Portland

Garaj Mahal sold out tomorrow night's show at a tiny basement club, so they added a show tonight... arrived and found out that most of the band except for Fareed was driving north... they hit a deer on I-5, and show is delayed for another 2,5 hours!
Fareed is going to be the opener, starting soon, fortunately, he flew.
Been excited to see them again but oooh tomorrow is gonna be tough!

just got the story....
They were cruising at 70 over Shasta... multi point stag standing on freeway... head-on hit, crushing.
Front of van fell off!
They had to wait in Redding for hours until someone drove up a replacement from
Bay area! Then hightailed it to Portland... they said they are going to blow the roof off, yay!
