Friday Pet Chat---Welcome Back HIM

Forums:

Stu's back! I believe that many,  including myself, are glad to see Stu posting again.  But we have heard very little about HIM since Stu returned. Perhaps Stu will regale us with a tale of HIM's adventures? Or a least a humorous anecdote or two?

On the home front, Kiwi is starting to fly a bit. He doesn't get much lift, but can maneuver fairly well while in flight. He now spends most of his day outside his cage. I was worried that the dogs would attack, but they have been great. One is completely indifferent,  the other seems to want to herd the bird.

Stu Stu Stu !!!

Well  Thanks,  Lumber Truck for the very nice Photograph  of the Border Collie cross watching over Kiwi the Bird.

HÛsky might be friendly,  or attack the Bird.

He is not really friendly with Fowl or Hooved creatures.
Personally,  I don't think He is safe around Birds.

But any Dog or Kid,  he coëxists in Peace.  Actually,   the Hüsky breed is Perfect Babysitter.

He still attacks Chickens and Sheep,  given the opportunity.

Never a worry with other Dogs or Kids.  He only kills Possums,  Chickens and Hooved animals.

Is it OK to post on a Friday pet chat on Monday?

My coon hound burst out of the woods a few feet behind an adult deer last summer. We have grey deer, a bit shorter than the brown spotted Bambi types.

After five 1/4 mile circles. the deer bounced off the center field fence in the desrted sports field. Coon Hound just froze and barked (and barked some more....) before walking away and jumping in to the nearby pond to chill off.

Kiwi would not fare well with my dog. Such a sweet picture of the bird & dog.

Welcome back Stu
